Job Description
CoreCivic is hiring an Assistant Facility Administrator - Lead Case Manager at the South Texas Family Residential Center in Dilley, Texas. The center's mission is to provide open and safe residential housing, as well as educational opportunities for women and children who are awaiting their due process before immigration courts. The Assistant Facility Administrator (AFA) - Lead Case Manager is responsible for case management services, staff supervision and training. This position oversees other case managers and all accompanied child assessments, individual service plans, and discharge. The AFA ensures that all child services are properly documented in the case file. The Assistant Facility Administrator - Lead Case Manager also directs, administers and coordinates the management of the facility in the area of operations and/or programs personally or through subordinate managerial staff, with oversight and direction of the Facility Administrator. This position acts with full authority in the absence of the Facility Administrator.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services field is required and three years of progressive employment experience in the aforementioned fields, to include supervisory and case management experience is required; or a Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services field is required and five years of progressive employment experience in the aforementioned fields, to include supervisory and case management experience is required. One year of work experience in the child welfare field working with children or adolescents in a social service setting is preferred. Must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the practices and principles of facility management, rules and regulations, and the principles and practices of supervision and training. Experience in Microsoft Office or other similar software applications is required. A valid driver's license required.

 

Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
