Employment Specialist, Community Corrections
The Employment Specialist, Community Corrections is responsible for providing and coordinating employment programs to assist and support resident/inmates in their job search activities to secure and maintain gainful employment. Provides exceptional customer service and complies with company policies and procedures.
High School diploma, GED certification or equivalent is required. One year of experience in human resources, employment resource or a related field is required. Ability to demonstrate customer service skills in managing difficult residents/inmates. Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing and apply problem solving techniques to complex issues. A valid drivers license is required. Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age. CoreCivic is a Drug Free Workplace & EOE.
