CoreCivic University
We are proud to offer our employees learning and development opportunities at every level and stage of their careers through our leadership development program called CoreCivic University. Employees are equipped to make a positive impact through teamwork, communication and problem-solving. In these classes, employees also help solve company problems and develop solutions to enhance the company and culture.
CLEAR (CoreCivic Leadership Experiences and Rotations)
CLEAR is a rotational leadership program that provides experiences, ongoing mentorships and targeted training across a wide range of business areas within the company to fast-track development to targeted leadership positions. During the program, leaders get hands-on experience with some of the best facility leadership, traveling across the country and gaining exposure to varied contract types and partners.
Career Experiences
The Career Experiences model aims to provide vast examples of opportunities for employees to strive for when enhancing current career performance and elevating functional, technical and leadership skills and abilities, as well as empowering employees to gain experiences laterally and cross-functionally. Wherever you are in your career, our experience models can help guide you to where you want to be and how to get there!
Talent Management
Talent Management is CoreCivic's process to Identify, Assess and Develop a pipeline of leadership talent from which the next generation of leaders is identified. This is important to our organization's structure as it allows us to use objective criteria when filling gaps in the leadership pipeline and helps to create a clear plan to develop and grow leaders more quickly. Development plans are established to help leaders reach short and long-term career goals to prepare them for their full potential.
